I can pass tests
So apparently taking a short little quiz can tell you a whole lotta nothing! It;s not all it;s cracked up to be…but if you really want to, I think Emode used to have an awesome IQ Test, but they were bought by Tickle…not sure if it’s any good; but if you’re curious, you know where to go.

Worth a mention, good for a laugh
TGIF…it’s a “feature” day at BD@BS!! Last week was a good list, but some this week were hard not to post about the day I read them…on with the sideshow!
Postsecret – Postcards sent anonymously to the blog author; scanned and posted on Sundays. I found this site early this week and wanted to save it for today, but it was tough. This is one of the most touching, funny, dark and overall emotional blogs I have found. A few friends of mine said “it just makes me wish I could give some of those people a hug” … “so honest and things I wish I could say”. If you have time: grab something to drink, relax, close your door and try to read each one.
Pantyraider – “food, drink, monkeys, and beats from the dairy air of mondovi, wisconsin, the streets of minneapolis, and the sands of bondi beach, australia” — snippets of life, but some awesome humor tossed in the mix.
What I learned today – Really neat to me I think just because it’s like participating in someone’s life. Funny to serious…stuff that the author learns each day.
Diary of a psycho soccer mom – We all know soccer moms are crazy, she just openly admits it and tells a tale of her days. Very personal, very cool.
Bunny Suicides – Not really a blog, but it has enough pictures to tell a story that is so damn funny you have to see it!
I’m a flickr whore
I have gotten 1003 photostream views in the few weeks I have been on Flickr. Not to mention that I have been taking about 5 to 10 pictures a day now. Random pictures of small things, circles, fountains and pics of me of course!
I always loved taking pictures, but I hated waiting to get the film developed or finishing a roll just to see one picture. Or those times when you take a picture only to find out later it came out like crap.
I love my digital camera! :) I think it might be my new best friend…not to mention it’s given me a new hobby that I am having a field day with!
So now I sort of have two blogs…one to write and one that’s just pictures. Each one tells a little story; one you have to read and imagine the visual portion, the other you see and imagine the thoughts.

Laugh more? Well how about I laugh at the connotation that this horoscope is threatening me at the same time telling me I need to laugh more?? You know, I think the astrologist working for astrology.com seriously has it out for me. Those little turds know I over think everything and I’ll overanalyze this one and end up not laughing which will then make the “or else” happen which freaks me out so I want to laugh, but I can’t laugh because I don’t ever know what to think when I hear the threat “or else”.
See, I can’t even write a blog without freaking out. Damn.
“The stars have a prescription for you, and it’s a pretty easy one to fulfill, even if they don’t carry it at Walgreen’s: Start laughing more. Yes, things might be a touch complicated (although let’s face it — you kind of like that), but they don’t necessarily have to be heavy or gloomy. Along with that powerful intellect, you have quite the sense of humor. So figure out what you need to do to tickle it today, or else!”

If you live near me and want a ONE white band, please let me know…I have 6 left.
We can be “The Great Generation”.
The semester is over
Well I did it. I went back to school after a four year break; my first semester came to a close as I turned in my final exam last night. I had a good grade going into the final and I wanted to come out with a grade better than “good”. Unfortunately I don’t think I pulled off what I would have needed to push me into the “great” category, but I am pretty sure I maintained my grade and I can be happy with that.
I have a few days off so I can catch up on things and visit with a few friends…it’s going to be nice not having to go to class until 10 pm these next few days. Ah but, happiness is short lived. Next week I start back up, no longer a two night per week class schedule; it’s 4 nights a week for me. Yup. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday…but only until 9:30 pm so I get an extra 30 min to myself each night. ** note: time to myself really means time doing homework. I’m looking forward to it…it’s been a little while since I challenged myself and I plan on winning this one hands down.
I turned over a new leaf with school this time around; I have a mission. I want to pull back on the procrastination and ditch the chip on my shoulder. I want to go back to a time about 8 years ago when I was doing well in school because I wanted to; not because someone told me to. It took some time, but I searched deep and found my motivation…it was curled up in a ball, in a fetal position cowering from neglect and abuse during stressful times. I wanted to bring it out again, this time I knew it would take a lot of nurturing for me to nurse it back to health.
I started by reading books I owned on various subjects that I was passionate about. Since passion works as an amazing fuel, I knew it would help me become motivated again. Then I moved on to the emotional books: the stories of people that fought back from illness or fought for survival. Through these stories I learned to deal with my own struggle as if procrastination and lack of motivation was a disease. Not all of the books were about personal growth; but somehow they hit home. For a list of things (books and movies) that helped get me through some tough times visit my All Consuming list tagged: motivational.
