Just another Friday
I have some posting to catch up on…but I have some ranting to do. It’s happened again if you can believe it: I kinda like a friend of mine, but I’m kinda talking to someone else too.
It seems almost inevitable that when I start talking to someone –break– yes we are playing the pronoun game here because I am two years old….someone does mean female, a girl…a cute one too. –unbreak– sooo where was I? YEAH! It seems almost inevitable that when I start talking to someone on a regular basis that I have an interest in getting to know a little more about, I find someone else I would also like to get to know more about. Now, some people would think that this is a good thing: having choices. The problem is that I tend to botch things up with all parties when I get to this point. Why? Well I don’t have “mad pimping game skillz” like some fellas (haha riiiiiight), but I get to a point where I think I might hurt someone because I donno if I can focus on one person and still be honest about it to the other person…then my great gift of over-thinking goes into overdrive so I make more out of every situation then there is and it’s all down hill from there. I rock!!
I should mention that one person I just talk to and there isn’t much beyond that right now; but we started talking on the premise of a possible date in the future. Thankfully we talk openly (to a point) about other people we talk to. So no real big problem there. The other person…well it’s a little complicated, and the complications don’t need to be weighed just yet.
Let’s just say that right now I have a problem. There is someone that I used to be flirty-with-no-problem friends with. A few weekends ago I gained some insight into her thoughts on our flirty nature; this made me think which is not always a good thing. I then spent some time with her this past weekend and saw a different side of things (good side) and I am now…well I’m not a babbling dweeb about it! :) I pretty much tongue tied when we talk and the only way I can talk is by not looking her her eyes. Why? Well you know how a mouse sort of gets hypnotized by a snake before it gets devoured? Yea, that’s pretty much the situation: I’m the mouse.
So if you are a regular reader you know I tend to exaggerate a little and overreact. Right, I’m a freak and I’m all over the map. So, my reactions are just like I said, but I have been keeping them subtle. Last night I happened to bump into her again and well…I’m pretty sure she caught on that there might be a “little issue” on my side of the fence. AWESOME! I suck.
*sigh* Life likes to throw curve-balls doesn’t it?
