On becoming a leader
I have Warren Bennis’ book “On Becoming A Leader: The Leadership Classic–Updated And Expanded” and it looks/sounds pretty good. I won’t crack the spine until I finish one of the other four I am reading right now. Too many books on similar subjects and I get it all mucked up! Not to mention too many books at once and it takes longer to read any one book.
Nerd Power! :)
“I think that every person has to make a genuine contribution in their lives and the institution of work is one of the main vehicles to achieving this”, he has said. “I’m more and more convinced that individual leaders can create a human community that will, in the long run, lead to the best organizations.”
