Garage sale
I am having a garage sale on bad karma if anyone is interested. I seem to have a surplus of it that is getting out of control. Seriously, I’ll give you a great deal.
p.s. I hate my university administration, my bank, Comcast and broccoli.

Yes, that’s right folks!!! It’s that time of year again for that special holiday we all know and love: November 12 is…National Pizza With The Works Except Anchovies Day!!
Look it up, I’m not lying! I celebrate every year and have been for almost 29 years now. This year it falls on a Sunday so I’ll be celebrating early on Saturday night at a local watering hole.
p.s. I almost forgot, November 12th also happens to be my b-day so if you hate pizza you have something else to celebrate! :)
I am two years old
Today is my blog’s b-day/anniversary…you may recall my celebration last year, or maybe you don’t.
This past year has been a slow year for the blog unfortunately, with night classes and volunteer work absorbing most of my time. After living with a friend for 7 years it was time to move on as he was getting married and buying a house…bad luck struck with internet problems in my new home so I can’t blog at night and play catchup on my reader’s blogs like I used to.
Two things have changed in the past two days that will make all of that better…
– After 4 months, I now have internet access at home! YEAY!!
– After some updates on my phone, I can now do something I have wanted to do for a long time…mobile blog!
Now my productivity can really decrease, or is that increase? :) Thanks for keeping in touch via email and IM and all the support while working on side projects. Keep your eyes peeled for changes to the site and more regular updates.

Something BIG happens tomorrow. Something really BIG. What is it? Oooo I can’t tell you, it’s a secret.
Comcast sucks
I have been without Internet access from the WORST cable provider in the world: the communist company called Comcast.
After 3 months, 10 phone calls, 5 technician visits, 2 escalation appointments and 8 visits to the billing center…which totals up to $20 in gas and about 18-22 hours of my time the end result is: crappy cable tv signal and no internet access.
I’m still refusing payment for the entire duration of our service and threatening to call the local news as well as the Better Business Bureau, but their technicians are just not interested in fixing my problem.
…this is partially why I have been absent as of late. :)
Jury Duty
I am no longer a jury duty virgin. After dodging the bullet once when I was in college (no not this time I was in college, like two times ago…I’ve been in college a few times -shh) I got the notice to serve.
While I was not picked for a jury, I did spend 4 hours of my day at the courthouse. For that I received a “Thank you for doing your duty (and not going to jail for skipping out)” letter along with $14.20. Good thing my office was nice enough to pay me for the day I had to take off…yuck.
